Susan Moira "Suzie" Knechtel, MMT, LPC, LCAT, BCPC, MT-BC holds a Masters Degree in
Music Therapy (MMT) and is a level III, advanced trainee, working towards a
Fellow in Guided Imagery and Music, The Bonny Method
from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has completed the
advanced training (Levels I & II) in Mari Assessment. Susan has a License in
Professional Counseling (LPC) from the State of Pennsylvania, a License in Creative
Arts Therapy (LCAT) from the State of New York as well as a Board Certified Professional
Counselor (BCPC) from the American Psychotherapy Association (APA). Suzie also holds
a nationally recognized certification—Music Therapist Board Certified (MT-BC)
from the Certification Board For Music Therapists (CBMT). She has been working
in the field of healthcare for over twenty years with an emphasis on Music
Therapy for thirteen. Suzie has presented at many workshops, education
forums, seminars and intensive weekends, both nationally and internationally.
